Not exactly an anime, but from what I've been reading on McFarlane's web site he will continue his animated series that ran for 3 seasons on HBO.

The animated series was pretty dark, but the story and dramatic moments bring it together.

I am a Christian and I do not agree with some of the religious aspects of the series, but from a creative standpoint I can understand the direction the story takes.

Mainly I always liked the lessons the story dealt with about the choices we make in life and the places they can take us.
